We’re heading back out to Falcon Ridge on Saturday, March 7, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for the Falcon Ridge Floppet, a cross-country ski race that brings together strong skiing, winter endurance, and a great on-site atmosphere.
The Floppet is a true winter event - athletes pushing hard on the trails, spectators lining the course, and a central hub where people can warm up, recover, and connect between races.
Sauna Experience On Site
We’ll be set up all day offering hot sauna sessions for racers and spectators. Whether you’re looking to warm up before your race, recover after finishing, or just experience the contrast of heat and cold during a winter event, the sauna will be running throughout the day.
No prior sauna experience is required. Come as you are, cycle through at your own pace, and stay as long as it feels right.
How the Sauna Sessions Work
• Sessions are booked in 30-minute time slots
• This allows for a 10–15 minute sweat, plus time to change
• A minimum of two participants is required per sign-up
• A changing room will be provided
• Space is limited, and sessions will fill quickly
What to Bring
To make the most of the experience, we recommend bringing:
• A towel
• A water bottle
• Easy on/off footwear like Crocs, sandals, or slippers
Important Details
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older
• All sessions are pre-booked
• Sign-up is available through the attached form
Outdoor Lounge by Spruce Bev Co.
We’re also excited to be joined by Spruce Bev Co., who will be hosting an outdoor non-alcoholic beer lounge at the event. The lounge will feature seating and a fire - a welcoming place to warm up, relax between races, or hang out with friends while taking in the energy of the Floppet.
Spruce’s non-alcoholic beers are designed for exactly this kind of day: social, active, and outdoors.
For Racers and Spectators Alike
You don’t need to be racing to be part of the day. The Falcon Ridge Floppet is a great event to watch, socialize, and experience winter done properly - skis on snow, steam in the air, and people embracing the cold instead of hiding from it.
Whether you’re pushing for a podium finish or just coming out to enjoy the scene, there will be plenty happening throughout the day.
We’ll see you at Falcon Ridge on March 7, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
